Diagraming my journey: How I got my heart back

I wanted you to see how the journey of getting my heart back unfolded over the years; primarily how I discovered the message of Scripture that the Christian's heart is now good and noble -- ultimately leading me to write RECOVER YOUR GOOD HEART.

Share your diagrammed journey here.
Email me [jim at thegoodandnobleheart.com]  with a sketch or PowerPoint diagram of your journey of getting your heart back.  Get creative.  Use stick figures - it doesn't matter.  I'll post it.

Hey Jim...

I think for the me, I am in some ways still moving towards clarity. Not there yet.

For the exposure of the actual offer, I think my books would be -
1) Inside Out by Larry Crabb...gave me some great looks into my wounds, the sources of those wounds etc.
2) Wild at Heart by John Eldredge...made me realize the "hols" that were missing in my life.
4) He Loves Me by Wayne Jacobsen...really made me realize and feel that God desires a us, a relationship, not a life of duty and obligation.

Thanks
Doug

Hey Doug -- There are lots of areas that are still pretty unclear to me in life, but the nature of our good hearts isn't one of them. It took at least 8 years to get that message into me.

I also liked "Wild at Heart" and found it healing -- as well as the Men's Bootcamp and Advanced I went to in Colorado. I usually hate "retreats" but these were not your ordinary retreats: Great for a guy's heart.
