Welcome to the new blog of Jim Robbins!

Have a look around.  You'll find everything here on this new blog that was on my old one.  This is a new software platform (SquareSpace), which is more powerful, robust, and has easier design and style interfaces than the old platform I was using.

My apologies to anyone who couldn't reach my site in the last day or so.  It took time for the internet to point my old site to the new one.  My domain name will continue to be www.robbinswritings.com and has been overlayed onto this SquareSpace site you're now viewing.

My email will also remain the same: jim@robbinswritings.com.  You can contact me here through the "Contact" link in the sidebar.

As always, feel free to post your own comments.

Jim

Very nice! I don't think I've ever heard of squarespace before. I'll have to check it out.

Thanks, Joel. I just found out about it. The interface is really user-friendly (no need for code or CSS -- though you can do that if you know how) and the tools that it comes with are pretty powerful. They have tutorials on the site that show how to build pages, etc. And, the pages and templates are really flexible. (I'm not an official sponsor in any way, I just like to share new tools when I've found value in them.)

The new blog looks good. You've done a great job. I did email you recently so I guess I'll have to send it again since you might not have gotten it.

Thanks, Aida and Joel for checking it out. I do some graphic design work, so I designed the new header to be a little less boxy.
Also, SquareSpaces' templates are really attractive and flexible. I found them a couple weeks ago just by doing a google search for blog templates and they came up. Good stuff.
